WHAT DOES
THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE INVOLVE?
On
first contact I will note your dogs details and a veterinary permission
form is sent to your
vet to confirm that massage is a suitable treatment for your dog.
You
then make an appointment with me and I will give you some general advice
at this stage.
At
the first appointment I will observe the dog move and discuss the dog's
condition with you before beginning any treatment.
I then
massage the dog to address problem areas.
This can last up to one hour.
After the treatment
we will discuss how to move forward with your dog.
Please note that veterinary
permission must be sought before commencing any massage treatment
... AND
NOT ONLY MASSAGE FOR DOGS!
I not only treat dogs,
but most small mammals including rabbits.
Rowen was having problems
moving due to his size. Massage has helped him move better and also made
him more tolerant of his human carers.
This is what his owner says: 'Thank you so much. It has really helped him
and hopefully will keep him going a bit longer!'
