What Clients Say

Chester and Elly

Chester and Elly

"Sue has treated my dogs for over a year now and is highly recommended.
Initially my cocker spaniel went lame for no reason.
After several months of investigations with our vet to try and identify what was causing the lameness, I contacted Sue and she quickly arranged a date to see us.
Sue has a lovely, relaxed manner and she instantly put me and more importantly my dogs at ease.
She identified in the first session why my dog was lame and for the first time in months my dog walked out of the first session not limping.
We have seen Sue regularly for treatment and my dog fully recovered from her injury and is back to agility fitness.
Sue is also now treating my older dog with hip dysplasia/arthritis and helping his mobility.
Sue has done an amazing job with my two dogs and I can't thank her enough."

Mardi, Harvey & Ailla

"I was so lucky to have Sue recommended to me a couple of years ago when my Golden Retriever, Mardi, had two cruciate ligament ops 6 weeks apart.
We had Sue round after the recovery period and she gave her massage and laser treatment (she was also having hydrotherapy at the vets).
Sue was so kind and knowledgeable and my other 4 Goldies wanted some of the action.
Sue also started treating my old boy, Harvey, who was a bit weak in his back legs.
Sue is still treating him now and it has made so much difference. Harvey has been going to Sue's fitness classes for the last couple of years and he has improved so much which I am so grateful for.
Another of my Goldies, Ailla, has been going to Sue's Hoppers class in the Summer. Sue is so patient and her affinity with dogs is a very special talent. I would be proud to be thought of as a friend as well as a client of Sue's."

Iggy

Iggy

"I first met Sue over 11 years ago with my rather exuberant lively one year old border collie Iggy when we started in her agility classes. About a year or so into training it became clear that Iggy had issues with his back which following veterinary investigation turned out to be spondylosis. Since then Sue has been a key member of team Iggy aimed at keeping him fit, mobile, as pain free as possible and using complimentary therapies to reduce reliance on pharmaceutical pain relief. In addition to regular 6 weekly treatments Iggy has emergency sessions when he runs into issues. Sue will span a range of approaches depending on what she believes will best help each individual dog. With many years of working with dogs in laser therapy and sports massage plus training agility, canine fitness and other activities she seems to have a knack of identifying and treating issues. She is generous with her time and is an invaluable source of information and advice. While he has his ups and downs Iggy's quality of life over the last 10 years has been greatly improved with the help of Sue's treatments."

"We have three Golden Retrievers who have regular massage sessions with Sue.
As soon as Sue appears the dogs vie with each other to be first for treatment and without exception they all benefit from her ministrations.
There is no question that the dogs enjoy themselves and always seem much more mobile and agile afterwards.
I now regard their regular sessions with Sue as much part of the cost of owning a dog as I do buying their food.
Thank you Sue."

"We are lucky to have Sue support us with our dogs. The two cockers go to weekly fitness classes with Sue. Our brown cocker has hip dysplasia & Sue is working with us to ensure that he has good muscles to support his hips. The springers receive 6 weekly treatments to ensure that they are fit to compete in agility. If we have any concerns about any of dogs we just have to contact Sue for advice. Our boys all love Sue who has so much patience with lively spaniels! We are lucky to have known Sue for over 5 years and would highly recommend her."

Tess

Tess

"Tess was a flyball dog until she was 8 years old.
As Sue came to help our Spaniel we knew if we needed her we only had to ask.
Well unfortunately that time came when Tess started getting stiff after training and competing.
Again we chose to call Sue to see her.
This monkey always turns upside down so Sue can't work on her back, but Sue is always very patient with her.
When Tess gives in she enjoys her massage and is a different dog afterwards.
My girl is very lucky to have had a great flyball career and now a great retirement with regular massages and health checks.
Sue was even kind enough to make us an emergency visit when Tess needed her.
We can't thank her enough."

Rowan & Tia

Rowan & Tia

"Rowan (the red merle) is a nervous and very energetic rescue collie who has been a client of Sue's for three years.
Sue is enormously patient with her wriggling and squirming during treatment and has gained her trust so that Rowan now loves the massage sessions with Sue and is always so pleased to see her.
Tia is nearly 13 years old and has had a prolapsed disc in her spine for the last seven years.
She is very anxious about letting anyone touch the area around the disc except Sue who she trusts.
Along with the fitness and proprioception training classes this has kept Tia strong and active over the years."

Pippin & Honey

Pippin & Honey

"Her fitness classes are full of fun exercises which build up the dogs' core strength to enable them to live life to the full whatever the age.
We have noticed this in our 13year old Welsh Springer who is still able to go for long walks and run around with our younger dogs.
Gone are the days when she would fall lame after a long walk!

Nala

Nala

"Sue has treated my dog Nala using both massage and acupuncture.
She has also helped me to improve Nala's fitness for agility by helping me with different strengthening exercises.
Sue is calm and gentle and excellent at putting dogs at ease.
I would not hesitate to recommend her."

"Sue has successfully treated Tessa an agility dog on a number of occassions.
Tessa has really enjoyed it!

We've also participated in a variety of group and individual fitness sessions.
My young dog has recently attended at the new facilities which are great.
Sue has also been on hand at all times with advice and support."

Ty

Ty

"Ty my little Large dog that used to compete at full height at agility.
She is now 10 and a half and might still do Anysize when we can have shows as Intermediate came too late for her.
Sessions with Sue were very relaxed and enjoyable for both of us."

Mandy

Kip

Kip

"Kip is extremely particular about people with whom he becomes friends and even more so over those he allows to touch him.
He adores Sue and she is endlessly patient with his wriggling.
She has helped him recover from several injuries over the years.
Sue works closely with our chiropractor who trusts her judgment which means Kip still gets to enjoy competing despite his relativity old age for an agility dog of 9 years."

Elly

Elly

"This is Elly doing what she loves.
Didn't think the day would ever come where I could do agility with her again.
But thanks to Sue's amazing knowledge and expertise and patience with a hyper working cocker she can now do what she loves.
Can't thank Sue enough for fixing Elly."
